The lively market town of Elgin still has its medieval street plan, with a cobbled marketplace. Superb shopping, cinema and good restaurants can also be found in Elgin. The surrounding area boasts many sandy beaches with some of the best to be found in Lossiemouth and Findhorn, and of course the Moray Firth dolphins are a popular attraction for visitors to this area.
